This Is Just To Say...
Guess who's back? Monday 19th October - Put It In Your Diaries...
Hello friends,
Hope you’re enjoying this most wonderful of summers here in London. I’ve been woefully neglectful of these newsletters of late, and, despite my best intentions to carve out some time today to finally send out a bumper message full of all the links, stories and recommendations I’ve been saving for you all over the past few weeks, I’ve found myself pulled in every direction yet again, and with only enough bandwidth to let you know that OneTrackMinds will be back at Wilton's Music Hall on Monday October 19th!
Tickets are on sale today via the Wilton’s website, and I’m very happy to see that they’re already selling very healthily indeed. We’ve not confirmed any guests for our lineup as yet, but rest assured, we’re working away on a very very exciting collection of storytellers, all ready to share their stories about the songs that changed their lives. We’ll be announcing our guests over the coming weeks, but if you’ve been to an OneTrackMinds show before, you’ll know you’re pretty much guaranteed a great night out regardless of who’s onstage.
Our anniversary show back in May featured novelist Joe Dunthorne, author and journalist Alice Vincent and the one and only Suggs from Madness, so we’ve set ourselves a high bar to beat that lineup - but it’s a challenge we look forward to rising to.
Please book your tickets now - I know October feels like a lifetime away, but if you buy your tickets today, it’ll be something to look forward to when these glorious sunshine days are over and the grey skies and bitter winds of autumn threaten to steal your joy. Delayed gratification is the best.
Right, that’ll do! Well, it won’t really - this is a woefully short newsletter, even by my standards, but I promise I’ll do better next time. Until then,
KB.
